What happens once I send a private enquiry?Your message comes directly to me. I’ll read it personally, in full confidence, and respond to you or your nominated contact, with the next gentle step forward.
-
Do you offer remote or in-person sessions?Sessions are offered securely online or by phone. In-person work may be available depending on your location and needs, and is arranged with absolute discretion.
-
What kinds of challenges do people bring to you?Clients often seek support for stress, burnout, anxiety, emotional fatigue, addiction, grief, trauma, loneliness, trust issues and/or identity issues. Others may be navigating relationship complexities, decision fatigue, or the overall quiet cost of being visible. You don’t need a label - only a sense that you'd like something to feel different.
-
Can I initially remain anonymous? You are welcome to share as much or as little identifying information as you wish during the enquiry stage. Some clients begin using only initials, or via a trusted intermediary.
-
Can someone contact you on my behalf?Yes. Many enquiries are made by assistants, introducers or advisors. If you're making an initial approach for someone else, you're welcome to outline as little or as much as you feel is appropriate.
-
Do you have experience working with LGBTQIA+ or neurodivergent clients?Yes. Many of the clients I support identify as LGBTQIA+ and/or neurodivergent, including those navigating this experience within high-pressure or high-visibility lives. I understand that identity, public roles, and emotional safety often intersect in complex ways. Feel assured that you won’t need to defend who you are. This is a space where your identity is understood and respected.
-
Can I book a single session to begin with?Absolutely. Some clients seek a one-off private conversation. Others begin with one session and choose to continue. There is never any pressure to commit beyond what feels right for you.
-
Is it possible to have a more flexible or ongoing arrangement?Yes. In some cases, I work with clients on a retainer basis. This means sessions and contact are arranged with greater flexibility, and availability is prioritised to suit the needs of those with unpredictable schedules or limited availability. If you think this may be a better fit for your circumstances, you're welcome to mention it in your enquiry, and we can explore what might work best together.
-
Is the service fully confidential?Yes. Discretion and data security are central to everything I do. All communication, from first enquiry through to sessions, is treated in strict confidence. No information is stored, used, or shared without full consent.
-
What qualifications and accreditations do you hold?I am an accredited member of the NCPS (National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society) a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), and a registered hypnotherapist with the HS (National Hypnotherapy Society). I also hold enhanced safeguarding training and a full DBS for work with young people and vulnerable adults.
-
Who do you typically work with?I work with individuals who live high-pressure, often public lives - including those in leadership, media, business, fashion, the arts, and politics. I also support their referrers: personal assistants, medical advisors, legal professionals, and trusted family members.
-
How soon could I speak with you?I offer a limited number of weekly appointments to ensure high-quality, attentive support. After your initial enquiry, I will personally be in touch within 48 hours to arrange next steps.
-
Do you provide therapy for young people or families?Yes. I am trained and insured to work with minors and families, including children and young adults navigating emotional distress, performance pressure, or transitions in family life.
-
What happens after I send an enquiry?I will reply directly, usually within 48 hours, to continue the conversation in whatever way feels appropriate. This may include arranging a brief call with you, the client, or both, depending on the situation.
-
Do you work with LGBTQIA+ or neurodivergent clients?Yes. I have extensive experience supporting LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent clients, including those in high-profile, high-responsibility roles. I understand that for these individuals, identity can intersect with public visibility, performance expectations, and private emotional strain in unique ways. Referrers can trust that this is a space where clients will not need to explain or defend their identity, only to be met with informed care and respectful understanding.
-
Can I make an enquiry on someone else’s behalf?Yes. Many initial enquiries are made by personal assistants, GPs, therapists, legal advisors, or family office professionals. You are welcome to reach out directly with the information you’re comfortable sharing. You do not need to provide full details at this stage.
-
What information should I include in a referral?A short outline of the person’s needs, context, or what kind of support is sought is helpful, but not required. Even a simple introduction is enough to begin. You’re welcome to specify preferred timescales, communication boundaries, or any special considerations.
-
Do you offer retainer-based access or more flexible arrangements?Yes. A small number of clients are supported on a retainer basis, which allows for enhanced flexibility, priority scheduling, and ongoing availability suited to complex, demanding, or unpredictable lives. This is usually most appropriate for those referred by advisors, assistants, or medical professionals. If this is something you're considering on behalf of a client, please feel free to enquire in confidence.
-
Are you qualified to work with minors or vulnerable adults?Yes. I hold full safeguarding training, an enhanced DBS, and extensive experience working with children and families. I also work with parents and carers in supportive consultation roles when appropriate.
-
Can you work alongside existing care teams or advisors?Yes. I’m happy to liaise (with consent) with trusted clinicians, therapeutic practitioners, or advisors to provide joined-up, respectful care - whilst maintaining the integrity of the therapeutic space.
-
Is the referral process confidential?Yes. Enquiries and referrals are received personally and held in strict confidence, even if the client chooses not to proceed. I do not share names, details, or outcomes unless legally required or explicitly agreed.
-
Do you work with high-profile, high-security, or media-sensitive individuals?Yes. I have experience supporting clients in the public eye and understand the nuanced challenges of visibility, pressure, discretion, and access. All sessions and correspondence are conducted with confidentiality at the forefront.
-
What if the client is reluctant or unsure about therapy? That’s very common. Therapy can begin as a gentle conversation. I offer an informal, pressure-free first contact, just a space to explore whether this feels like a good fit, without expectation.
-
Will you contact the client directly?Only if explicitly requested. I often continue initial correspondence solely with the referrer or intermediary until the client is ready. The pace and channel of contact can be shaped to suit the client’s privacy and comfort.
-
Do you offer urgent or time-sensitive consultations?I maintain a small caseload to allow for focused attention and flexibility. In urgent or sensitive cases, I will do my best to respond promptly and offer a first conversation within 48 hours if availability allows.
-
How long is a session?A standard session lasts 60 minutes. However, extended or intensive sessions may be arranged where clinically appropriate or requested.
-
How do I pay for sessions?Payment is made via secure bank transfer, invoice or paylink. Details are provided upon confirmation of the first session, with payment being due at least 48 hours before a session.
-
Are your services insured and regulated?Yes. I am fully insured to practise in the UK and hold accredited membership with the NCPS, along with registration with the BACP and the HS. All work is undertaken within a robust ethical framework.
-
Do you offer one-off sessions or consultations?Yes. Some clients prefer a single, private conversation - to decompress, clarify, or receive insight without committing to ongoing therapy. Others begin this way and choose to continue. There is no pressure to define that up front.
-
Where are sessions held? Most sessions are offered online via secure video or by phone. For clients requiring heightened discretion or tailored arrangements, in-person sessions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
-
Do you work internationally?Yes. I work with clients across multiple time zones and can accommodate international schedules. All sessions are conducted in English.
-
What if I need to reschedule or cancel?Life is unpredictable, especially in high-demand roles. I ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for rescheduling or cancellations. This allows me to maintain a limited, focused caseload.
-
How frequently are sessions offered? Most clients are seen weekly. However, the structure is flexible and shaped around your needs, whether you require regular support, check-in sessions, or a quieter, more spacious adhoc rhythm.
-
What are your fees?Fees reflect the nature of this discreet, personalised service and are discussed during the initial enquiry or introduction call. Where appropriate, support can be arranged via assistants, family offices, or professional teams.
-
Is there a contract or paperwork?Only what is necessary. I provide a simple, discreet agreement outlining confidentiality, boundaries, and practical terms, nothing more than is needed for clarity and safety.
-
Is it normal to feel nervous before starting?Completely. Many clients, even those used to public or high-pressure roles, feel unsure or apprehensive at first. That’s why the space is designed to meet you gently and safely, wherever you are.
-
Will I be expected to share personal or difficult material straight away?Never. You set the pace. Some clients speak freely from the start; others take time to build trust. Both are welcome. There is no pressure to open up before you're ready.
-
Is there an initial assessment? No formal assessment is required. Our first conversation is simply a space to talk - confidentially, calmly, and without obligation. If we decide to work together, the pace and structure will be shaped around your needs.
-
What kind of approach do you use?I am by nature Humanist in my practice, however, my work does draw integratively on person-centred, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioural approaches, but always tailored to you. I also offer hypnotherapy where appropriate. The work is collaborative: we shape it together, based on what feels helpful.
-
How will I know if this is the right fit?Trust your instinct. The first session is often enough to sense whether the tone, style, and environment feel right. You're under no obligation to continue, this is your space, on your terms.
-
What if I want to pause or stop therapy? You're free to pause or step away at any time. Therapy should never feel like a commitment you're trapped in. We can also arrange a gentle closing conversation, if you choose.
-
What happens after I send a private enquiry?Your message comes directly to me - no gatekeepers, no admin. I will respond personally within 48 hours to gently explore what you're looking for and what might be helpful.
-
Can I reach out again in the future, even if I stop?Yes. Many clients return at different life stages or after long periods away. You are always welcome to reach out again if and when the time feels right, knowing that unconditional positive regard will always be upheld.
-
What if I’m not sure what to say?Do know, that it is completely normal and often the reason why therapy begins. You don’t need to arrive with clarity. Part of the work is finding the words together, slowly and safely.
-
Do I need to prepare anything for the first session? No preparation is needed. You’re welcome to bring thoughts, questions, or simply a willingness to see how it feels. There is no right or wrong way to begin.
